|Her most notable work is the design of Sunnaas Hospital at Nesodden, in the mid-1950s. But one of the facets that make Kirsten’s ‘ordinary’ houses so remarkable is their colour.
Now, one of the attractive characteristics of Norway has always been the highly expressive colouring of the houses, that make them stick out of the surrounding landscape. Therefore, Kirsten Sinding’s colour is a great contribution to a long tradition.
